Standard Bank Customers

All Standard Bank customers are allowed access to their own information without having to use the request for access to information procedure as set out in the Promotion of Access to Information Act, including, but not limited to:
  • Bank/financial statements
  • Account information
  • Personal records
  • Voice recordings
All Standard Bank customers should contact the relevant Standard Bank department to request access to their own information. (Please note that there may be administration costs associated with the retrieval of certain types of information.)

Any Standard Bank customer who wishes to be given access to information that belongs to another customer of the bank must follow the request for access to information procedure as set out in the tab titled Request Procedure.
